From: Schimmel, Richard [Richard.Schimmel@kema.com] Sent: Friday, September 08, 2006 10:39 AM To: Bruce Muschlitz Subject: 9-2 test procedure suggestions Bruce, At the Cigre we discussed a bit on test procedures for 9-2. I mentioned I had done something for 9-1 long time ago. These test have totally different format as we have now. The most suitable comparable testcases would the GOOSE publish / GOOSE subscribe. These test a.o. - missing/delayed/out-of-order GOOSE messages - GOOSE header mismatches - GOOSE data mismatches For 9-2 this would be like: - missing/delayed/out-of-order SV messages - SV header mismatches - SV data mismatches As an extra we could verify against the 9-2LE implementation guideline as well. This result in extra testcases/verifications. Hope this helps, Richard Schimmel Senior consultant, Protocol Competence & Test Center KEMA Nederland B.V. | Utrechtseweg 310, 6812 AR Arnhem | P.O.
