A testing subcommittee teleconference will be held 27-January-2009 for 2 hours at 15:00 UTC (that is 10:00 EST, 07:00 PT, 16:00 in Europe). 

The preliminary agenda is:
  1. Appoint secretary/scribe for meeting minutes
  2. Approve minutes of 03-December-2008 teleconference
  3. Aprove final edits of Merging Unit (publisher) test procedures
  4. Approve Strict type checking SCL zip file (see embedded ReadMe.txt file in the ZIP file on the "Working Group Documents" section of the sharepoint site
  5. Decide whether TC should take the position that TimeQuality.ClockFailure is mandatory
       a. 61850-7-2Ed1 says is mandatory but PIXIT template has as optional
       b. Is there a reason to keep it optional?
  6. TCPL disussion:
       a. Server Procedures 2.2 CtlN2 and CtlN4 (SBOes) error codes when double-selects are made
       b. TCPL comment says "define error code" but those code values are not clear
       c. Is TCPL otherwise ready to release to all UCAIug members?
  7. SNTP/NTP conflicts on UDP source port number
       a. 61850-8-1 requires SNTP
       b. SNTP requires port 123 to be used for both source and destination
       c. NTP requires using an "ephemeral" port number (above 1023) as source
       d. Use of the SNTP-mandated fixed port number both eliminates possibility of NAT and comprimizes security
       e. Cannot alter test until TISSUE is raised
       f. Should we enter a TISSUE against this?
  8. Selection of time/date of next teleconference
       a. Should we informally meet at Distributech in San Diego? (I know that many key people cannot attend Distributech)
       b. can we set up a face-to-face meeting after the Pittsburg PSRC meeting?
       c. Would be 14-May 13:00-18:00 and 15-May for a few hours
  9. Other topics ?
